MEDELLÍN REVIEW

Medellin, Capital of Energy

FISE 2009 has a city with an entrepreneurial spirit that is in constant progress as a site. A city that offers natives, and foreigners, the vitality of a developing metropolis that aims for a spot in the globe´s mainstream economic and cultural trends.

The city has a positive economical dynamism, better qualified professionals, corporate creation and innovation, and a definition of priorities that make it an attractive space for local and foreign investment, for foreign visitors, for debating, and for the exchange of experiences and knowledge.

Medellin is considered the second most important city in Colombia after Bogota, the country´s capital, and is considered an epicenter for commerce, industry and technological development. It is a city with a platform that enables the most efficient operation of productive activities: its location between the country´s center and the Caribbean and Pacific region, and its location as a connection center for the continent between the north, the center, the Caribbean and the south, place it in a privileged position as the gate to Latin-America, ideal for business and the development of economic investment programs with exporting objectives.

We want to share our dreams and goals, to tighten bonds with each other, and to invite you to recognize that Medellín is increasingly a city to live, to visit, to do business, to love, and to care for.
