The Latin American and Caribbean Energy Week 2007 is a public and private initiative that seeks to hold the three most important events of the sector in Latin America and the Caribbean from November 26-30, 2007, at the Convention and Exhibition Center Plaza Mayor, in Medellin.
Hosting the Latin American and Caribbean Energy Week 2007 is undoubtedly an enormous challenge that will position the city, and the country, as an exceptional setting for international trade shows, business tourism, in addition to the multiple benefits entailed for the development and the positioning of the domestic electric sector.
FIER - XXXVIII MEETING OF THE ENERGY MINISTERS OF LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN
The Regional Energy Integration Forum – FIER- is led by the Latin American Energy Organization – OLADE, – and its purpose is to provide a stage to debate and carefully analyze the integration processes by sub-regions, legal frameworks, conflict resolution, and other topics of interest concerning energy in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Likewise, OLADE, with the support of the Ministry of Mines and Energy and in turn from its Mining Energy Planning Unit – UPME, will hold the XXXVIII Meeting of the Energy Ministers of Latin America and the Caribbean, an important politically-based meeting of great significance for the sector, where the Declaration of Medellín will be issued.
